Dear Patients,

In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, I am pleased to announce that my head of potions Dr. Pauline Jam will be hosting a very special Dr. Her Gin Masterclass at the Clinic. A portion of proceeds from each ticket sale will go towards the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation 香港乳癌基金會 HKBCF!

On 20 October, from 5-7pm, Dr. Paul will guide patients through the history, botanicals and flavours of 4 unique gins, each of which he has personally handpicked including our botanical garden to garnish your own gins for extra remedial purposes:

- Pinkster Gin
The pink ribbon is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness, so it is only fitting that Dr. Paul incorporated a pink gin into the masterclass! Pinkster Gin is distilled with 5 botanicals, before being steeped with delicious raspberries, lending it both its pink hue and subtle fruitiness.

- BerryPickers Gin
Following with the pink theme, Berry Pickers Gin is made with fresh strawberries harvested in Huelva (in south-west Spain). The strawberries are macerated for 5 days in an alcohol base and with no added sugars, resulting in beautiful pink hue and natural sweetness.

- Old Tom Hernö Gin
Old Tom Gin originates from 18th century England. Tom cat-shaped plaques were placed outside London gin houses when gin was illegal. According to the legend, when a penny was placed in the cat’s mouth the gin was served through a tube hidden in one of the paws.
Hernö's Old Tom Gin is made from the same distilled gin as their London Dry, though the Hernö team have tweaked the recipe and upped the dose of meadowsweet, while also adding honey after distillation, resulting in a sweet Old Tom Gin.

- Elephant Sloe Gin
Sloe berries are macerated into this gin mixture, giving it its classic dark hue and rich and juicy flavour profile.
In addition, 15% of Elephant Gin's profits go to two African elephant foundations to support the preservation of wildlife!
