Georgie Fame

Live at Grappa's Cellar

Event Closed

More Details

After previous sellout performances in Hong Kong, UK jazz and rhythm & blues legend Georgie Fame returns to Grappa’s Cellar once again for two nights only.

First a success in the 1960s, Fame is the only British pop star to have achieved 3 number one hits on the UK charts with his only Top 10 chart entries (with songs “Yeh, Yeh”; “Get Away”; and “The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde”). He continues to be a huge influence on the British popular jazz scene, inspiring young stars such as Jamie Cullum, and performs regularly with contemporaries Van Morrison and Bill Wyman.
Fame will be performing at Grappa’s Cellar with top Hong Kong jazz talents Eugene Pao (the first Hong Kong jazz musician to sign with an international label) on guitar, Paul Candelaria on bass, and Anthony Fernandes on drums.
The shows will be seated shows with dinner tables, and Grappa’s Cellar’s a la carte dinner menu will be available during the performance. Grappa’s Cellar will contact ticket purchasers about their tables. For any queries, customers can also call the restaurant at 2521-2322.
