When it comes to planning events, The Butchers Club has always been known to go all out. With Halloween just around the corner, a reputation for one-of-a-kind events and a huge rooftop overlooking Aberdeen harbour, The Butchers Club just couldn’t resist the opportunity to bring back its famed steak-centric event, but this time calling it A Halloween Steak Rebellion.

On Friday 31st October, The Butchers Club’s 7,000 square foot rooftop will be transformed into a fearsome butcher’s den, where things and people are not what they seem.

In the same way as the last Steak Rebellion, held in June, The Butchers Club team will set up its 18th Century-style chophouse, complete with butchered pigs heads, fortune-tellers and butchers with attitude, under a unique marquee by Event Canopies Asia. This time, however, guests can expect a whole lot more fun, starting with the blood curdling tunes of The Rolling Bones, a Sweeny Todd-style barber and the ghosts of butchers past.

In the spirit of Halloween, guests are required to come dressed to suit the theme of Gangs of New York meets Sweeny Todd meets Halloween – think dead gangsters or ghoulish barbers. Prizes will be awarded to the best costumes and there will be a spooky make-up artist on site.

Each ticket includes a 5-course menu comprising of freshly shucked oysters, handcrafted charcuterie, dry-aged rib-eye steaks served with salad and duck-fat fries, finished with a cheese platter and New York cheesecake. Each diner will also enjoy a complimentary bottle of red wine.
