Hong Kong Voices - Bach Motets & Britten "St Nicolas"
Choral Concert by Hong Kong Voices
Event Details
Even the best of us had their moments of doubt—Nicolas, Bishop of Myra, was once prosecuted and imprisoned, but through his steadfast faith we saw numerous miracles of piety. The same faith has promised Isaiah the Prophet, Paul the Apostle, Martin Luther and more, hope and strength through their individual ordeals.
Praised by The New York Times for “[conducting] a beautifully balanced, bracing performance", our Artistic Director Ken Lam, who is also Music Director of Charleston Symphony Orchestra and Illinois Symphony Orchestra, returns for a concert with Hong Kong Voices; together with our Principal Conductor Grace Chiang, we shall bring you works by Bach and Britten recounting the tales of unwavering faith.
