This New Year’s Eve, Porterhouse by Laris, the contemporary, upscale steakhouse located in the heart of Central, is partnering up with the PLAYBOY, for the ultimate end-of-year extravaganza. The cuffs & collars, black and white themed-night will include an indulgent six-course dinner, a champagne and cocktail service from the official Playboy Bunnies, music from renown DJ Aldo, and plenty of champagne to ring in 2017 in style.

The six-course dinner priced at HK$988, begins with a glass of Veuve Clicquot, followed by amuse-bouche and appetiser choices, a unique scallop dish, a beef main, pre-dessert, and of course, dessert. Begin the banquet with a choice from three dishes - foie gras profiteroles served with raspberry balsamic glaze, lobster custard and terragon crisp, or the beetroot meringue puff served with a delicious goat cheese cream. For course number two, choose between the lobster salad served with gazpacho consommé and compressed vegetables, or the daring gin & tonic cured oyster served with cucumber sorbet and borage leaf. Next, indulge in the pan seared diver scallop, sea asparagus & salty fingers, tempura roe, sea smoke, tarragon foam – a definite crowd pleaser. The porterhouse experience wouldn’t be complete without the beef and bone marrow – a signature main of wood-grilled sirloin steak with charred onions, braised short rib, puffed beef tendon, bone marrow croquette with raw chestnuts & roasted chestnut puree, cream cabbage and a rich beef jus. Prepare yourselves as Porterhouse whips up the green apple sorbet - perfectly cooled with liquid nitrogen, right by your table side for that instagrammable moment. Lastly, enjoy the BBQ pineapple served with caramel ice cream, pineapple carpaccio, praline, ginger cake & caramel mousse – the perfect end (or beginning) to keep you going well into the late hours.
