The Syria Relief Charity Concert
For one night only The Zero Point, an ensemble of musicians, singers and arrangers who have come together to explore and promote South Asian contemporary music in Hong Kong, will be performing at Foxglove.
The group performs original arrangements of the best tunes from Bollywood and beyond, including sufi, folk, Punjabi, Hindustani classical, jazz, funk, rock, pop, R&B and soul. Named after The Zero Point train station, a real-life crossroads between India and Pakistan, they represent a point of exchange between cultures and languages, musical genres and rhythms.
We will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Syria Relief Charity, which was established in 2011 in response to the beginning of the Syrian crisis. Overwhelmed by the rapidly increasing disaster unfolding in Syria, a group of friends of Syrian heritage came together in order to provide emergency humanitarian aid which provides services such as food security, supporting orphans and education aid.
