The Hong Kong Open returns to the stunning surroundings of Hong Kong Golf Club from 09 January to 12 January for the 61st edition of Hong Kong’s longest standing professional sporting event. Featuring a star studded field, this is one for the diary. With four days of world class action on course and a feast of entertainment off it, come and find out for yourself why the Hong Kong Open really is Hong Kong’s great day out!
How to get there
If you travel by public transport: 
You can catch the complimentary shuttle bus from Sheung Shui MTR East Rail Line station (Exit C).
Departures will be every 30 minutes from 7:00am to 6:00pm on Thursday and Friday and every 15 minutes from 8:00am to 7:30pm on Saturday and 8:00am to 6:00pm on Sunday.
Alternatively, you can catch a taxi from the station for a short 5 minute ride.

Free Bus Service from Central IFC Mall and Kowloon Tong MTR: 

A free bus service to the Hong Kong Open will operate at selected times from Central and Kowloon Tong from Thursday to Sunday. Times can be found on www.thehongkongopen.com one week prior to the event.

* Pick Up Points - Central, International Finance Centre Mall (IFC), Man Cheung Street (MTR Hong Kong Station Exit F from IFC Mall, opposite to Central Airport Express taxi drop off area); and Kowloon Tong MTR Exit D.

All Public Shuttles are on a first come, first served basis. 

If you drive:

Follow the Tolo Highway and leave it at the exit sign for Shek Kong and Kwu Tung. As you enter Fan Kam Highway, the Club is about 450 metres from the highway, with the car park on your left and the Clubhouse on your right.

Please note that parking space is limited and available on first come first served basis. Additional public parking will be available at the North District Hospital. The standard parking fees will apply. 

Terms and Conditions

All spectators over the age of 21 require a ticket for admission. Spectators aged 21 or under can enter for free.

Tickets are valid only on the date(s) printed on the tickets. The daily start time is subject to change at the discretion of the organizers and may not be the same time as that printed on the ticket.

The general public must comply with all legislation and house rules applicable to the event and venue.

The purchaser of a Hong Kong Open ticket agrees that TicketFlap can provide any information input by you to the organizer for its after-sales customer services regarding this event.

In case of a dispute arising from the ticket sales and promotion of the Hong Kong Open the decision of the European Tour and TicketFlap shall be final.

The Event Organizers’ Liability to You

We will not be liable to pay any money to you by way of compensation (other than as otherwise provided in these terms and conditions), including, for example, any loss of profits, loss of goodwill or loss of anticipated savings. Neither will we be liable for any damage, defect or other failing on our part or out of any misuse by any other person of your credit or debit card details unless (a) you have expressly made us aware in advance in writing of the nature and extent of the loss or damage which you may suffer in such situation and (b) we have expressly confirmed in writing that we accept liability for such matters.

The Organizers accept no liability to you in respect of any loss or damage to property incurred at the event, unless due to our negligence. By purchasing this admission ticket or entering the grounds of the Hong Kong Golf Club, you assume all risks and danger incidental to the game of golf, including the risk of being struck by a golf shot, and release the venue, Hong Kong Golf Association, Asian Tour, European Tour, event sponsors, participating players and all agents thereof from any liabilities arising out of such cases.

Nothing in these terms shall limit any rights you may have which are not capable of being lawfully excluded or limited, nor shall it exclude or restrict our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.


Attendance at Event

Prohibited Items: PDA’s, radios, televisions, weapons, loudhailers, outside food, pets (other than guide dogs), stepladders or similar.

No alcoholic beverages may be brought onto or taken from the grounds of the club.

The Organizers welcome mobile phones and encourage fans to enjoy and share your experience on social media. To make everyone’s experience as enjoyable as possible, please ensure your mobile phone is on silent at all times, and please ensure your flash functionality is switched off at all times. The following usage guidelines apply:

  • Mobile phone photography for personal use is permitted throughout the week in all areas of the course.
  • Mobile phone video capture is allowed throughout the week in non-competition areas only, such as practice facilities and mobile phone zones.
  • Phone calls are allowed in non-competition areas only, such as practice facilities and mobile phone zones.
  • Data use (texting, email, using social media) is permitted at all times.
  • Please be considerate to other spectators.
  • At all times, please take care to avoid disturbing players and please respond to all requests from tournament staff, security, players and members of their team.

PLEASE NOTE: The use of cameras other than those built into mobile phones is prohibited throughout the week other than for media accredited personnel. All video and photographic data of Asian Tour Members captured at an Asian Tour Tournament is the property of and expressly reserved by the Asian Tour.

Ticket holders consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded at the Tournament (including by CCTV), and consent to use of any such film, image or recording at the discretion of the promoter and/or Asian Tour and their licensees and partners without compensation or notice.

All promotional, commercial, political, religious or offensive items of whatever nature including, but not limited to, clothing, banners, signs, symbols and leaflets are prohibited.
The ticket holder must comply with all relevant statutes, signs, safety announcements, directions of stewards and ground regulations whilst attending the Tournament. In addition, ticket holders shall not, whilst within the Venue, use any electronic device to collect and/or relay any data or information whatsoever relating to the result, progress, conduct or any other aspect of any day’s play for betting activities or any other unlicensed commercial activities. Breach of any of these conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall enable the venue or event management to revoke this ticket and to eject the holder without compensation.

Where you, through your negligence, cause damage or loss to the Asian Tour or any property at the event (including, without limitation, the course or any equipment or facilities), you will be liable to indemnify the party suffering any loss or damage.
Tickets or badges may be revoked without refund (and the holder removed from the course) if, in the opinion of the Asian Tour (who shall at all times act reasonably in the exercise of their discretion), the holder fails to obey any conditions of use, posted signs or instructions of Championship officials, marshals and/or security personnel including, without limitation, any verbal or written instructions or prohibitions on the use of mobile telephones and/or cameras.
