NESSY: BORN TO MAKE LEARNING FUN
Developed in the UK by the Bristol Dyslexia Centre in the UK, the Nessy Programme has been 40 years in the making and is now used throughout the world to help children with dyslexia reach their full potential.
Nessy offers the complete dyslexia aware solution with a suite of multisensory products aimed at making learning to read, write and spell fun. This games-based educational software has a highly structured, incremental system based on well-established Orton-Gillingham principles of learning and many students have gained dramatically improved academic results.

REV TIM HALL
Tim began his career at St David’s College in January 1971 as a GAP Year Student, where he caught the vision of this pioneering school. After graduating from Durham University, in 1974, he joined full time staff to teach geography and be an assistant housemaster. An 11-year career developed as Housemaster, Head of Sailing and Geography teacher when in 1984, he was invited to consider becoming Chaplain. This led to 4 years away, doing further post grad studies, ordination and a time in a Parish. He returned to St David’s in January 1990 as Chaplain, where he pioneered new initiatives, trained as a Commercial and Civil Mediator, introduced a Peer Mediation Programme and developed a Resilience Programme. He continued his Geography teaching and was Head of Department for over 20 years, pioneering teaching through digital technology and built on his Masters module in Teaching Dyslexics in the Classroom, exploring a wide range of methods of teaching to match the varied learning styles of dyslexics. In 2017, he began a season of ambassadorial work for St David’s College which has led him to far flung corners of the world!
