A style rather than a format, POMEGRANATE is a communal vision spearheaded by The Groove Thief [TGT] & Tree-Angles [▶▶△]. Whether underground club night, public space extravaganza, or somewhere in between: always an unexpected happening. From their club residency at oma to their free open-air festivals “音樂節 - La Fête de la Musique” and “Bauhinia” to their diverse local and international guests, every event connects the dots from all across the musical spectrum to create something special, dynamic, and unique.

▶▶△ sets POMEGRANATE’s tone visually: the kaleidoscopic duo link nature and geometry through a mixture of image collages and video montages. Meanwhile, the selectors behind ▶▶△ – LëKSs and Selekta Sève – are known for their dynamic-yet-retrospective sense regarding both their own audio creations and choice global fusion beats. The Groove Thief then, is exactly that; while arguably a specialist in dub and reggae, it’s funky riddims and rhythms alike that influence his genre-blending sets and event curation.
